This has caused a great deal of confusion over the years because the services provided outside of Town limits are very different than those provided to residents within the Town of Queen Creek. For example, residents within the Town of Queen Creek:
– Receive emergency services from the Queen Creek Fire & Medical Department and  the Queen Creek Police Department
– Curbside trash and recycling services from the Town of Queen Creek
– Vote in Town of Queen Creek elections

Some examples of services received by residents in the San Tan Valley area include:
– Receive emergency services from Rural/Metro and the Pinal County Sheriff’s
