Picture this: two brand-new ambulances have officially joined the ranks, with two more on the horizon before the month’s end. That means our town will soon boast four dedicated units ensuring around-the-clock coverage and speedy responses, plus an extra unit on standby at the fifth station. Each of these units will be staffed with a skilled EMT and an EMT-paramedic, making sure our neighbors are in the best hands when emergencies strike.

This expansion has been a long time coming, ever since the Arizona Department of Health Services granted our town the Certificate of Necessity (CON) in 2016. With other nearby municipalities stepping up their ambulance game, we’ve witnessed a decrease in private sector units in our area. But now, Queen Creek is stepping up to the plate, ready to provide 24/7 coverage and flexible deployment strategies to ensure your safety is always the priority.

And here’s the best part: this enhanced ambulance service won’t hit your wallet with a tax increase. The fees for this service are carefully regulated by AZDHS, and they’ll cover a portion of the costs, with the town’s operating budget picking up the rest. That means you can rest easy, knowing you’ll receive a bill from the town, not a private provider, when you need their lifesaving services.
