Queen Creek Celebrates Opening of Permanent Fire Station 5
Nearly one year after building began, the permanent fire station serving the southwest area of Queen Creek is ready to go! The Town of Queen Creek will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony and community open house to celebrate!
This event will be on Sat. April 16 from 9-11am at 245 W. Combs Road. There will be a vehicle display, tours, fun fire activities, and refreshments. Parking will be available east of the fire station.
According to queencreekaz.gov, “The permanent Fire Station 5 features many safety enhancements such as sealed, ground concrete that reduces exposure to biohazards, an isolated storage area for firefighters’ protective equipment, or turnouts, and an additional area for decontamination. Like all Queen Creek fire stations, this one also features dedicated space for law enforcement and state-of-the-art bifold doors. Perlman architects designed the station with Willmeng completing the construction.”
There are four other fire stations within the community:
Station 1 – 20678 E. Civic Parkway
Station 2 – 24787 S. Sossaman Road
Station 3 – 19159 E. Queen Creek Road
Station 4 – 20155 Signal Butte Road
Come celebrate the opening of this new fire station and meet the fantastic people in our Queen Creek community!
