Hampton Inn Queen Creek
Not that long ago, Queen Creek was a very small, rural community without any stoplights and with only a handful of businesses . Trains could stop on the tracks and block the intersection while the engineer ran into the local pizza place to grab a slice or two and cause minimal traffic disruption! The nearest grocery stores were in Mesa or Gilbert. It’s safe to say that our little has grown up! One of the new businesses under construction is the Hampton Inn which will be Queen Creek’s first hotel. It’s located on the NW corner Maya and Old Ellsworth Road. This addition to Queen Creek is a welcome sight for out of town visitors who can now be closer to family and events in Queen Creek. The new hotel will have just over a 100 rooms and is within walking distance to multiple dining options. 
Fat Cats Entertainment
Construction has just started on the new Fat Cats being built in the Pecan Lakes Plaza located on NW corner of Riggs and Ellsworth Rd. Fat Cats is a whole lot of fun under one roof! This place is sure to be a family favorite entertainment center with eight movies theaters, an indoor mini-golf course, a 20-lane bowling alley, arcade games, dining and party rooms.
Queen Creek Living
Two more businesses planned for the Riggs and Ellsworth intersection will start construction soon: Backyard Taco and Fry’s Food and Drug. With all the new businesses opening that provide entertainment, dining, and convenience for residents, Queen Creek has become a very desirable place to live. People are drawn to Queen Creek because it has a very open and rural atmosphere but also has modern amenities within minutes. For horse lovers, there are many trails and open spaces to enjoy a leisurely ride. There are also many events scheduled at the Equestrian Center located just west of the new Fat Cats on Riggs Road.
