Queen Creek to Annex Ironwood Crossing Neighborhood
March 15, 2018
The Ironwood Crossing Annexation is finally happening and as a Queen Creek Realtor this is music to my ears!! Residents of the Fulton Homes community Ironwood Crossing will no longer have a San Tan Valley address! The neighborhood is highly sought after for its affordable home prices, amenities, and close proximity to shopping and services. They just wished it was a Queen Creek address and now they have it!
Residents of the community have been begging for this for quite some time and on April 9, 2018 they will get their wish! It was approved on March 9th but there is a 30 day waiting period before it becomes effective.
The 1,485 acres located between Meridian and Ironwood and Ocotillo and Germann will remain in Pinal County and still be subject to their property taxation. Some businesses and undeveloped land are included in this annexation as well but the buzz is mostly due to the neighborhood.
The master planned community boasts an incredible aquatic center among other family friendly features. The commute to the Williams Gateway Airport is only a short 10-15 minutes and the traffic in between is manageable. So, if you’re looking for a home in Queen Creek, Ironwood Crossing just might be what you’re looking for.
